Blind Pilot is a band from Portland, Oregon who, in 2006, toured the west coast of the US from Bellingham, Washington to San Diego, California on their bicycles. They hauled their devices behind them and performed music all alongside the way in which.
Impressed by the music and enthusiasm of Blind Pilot, filmmakers Max Dunn and Emily Ellickson-Brown determined to hit the street and observe the band with video cameras as they made their approach down the coast on this uncommon bicycle touring journey. The filmmakers documented as a lot of the tour as they presumably might – capturing for two months, masking 2,000+ miles and 40 completely different reveals.
After getting back from the tour, Blind Pilot recorded their album Three Rounds and a Sound, added seven extra musicians to the group, had been featured because the iTunes single of the week, and caught the eye of NPR.
