Two days earlier than I used to be to depart Cape City on my 2-month lengthy bicycle tour throughout South Africa, I went into the yard of my tiny Observatory residence and washed off my bicycle with the home and a bucket crammed with heat, soapy water. After the bike was all cleaned up, I made a decision to take the bike out for a fast spin… and that’s when my bike began making a horrible clicking sound each time I attempted to press the brakes. I rapidly found that the rear brakes had been completely shot and wanted to get replaced.
Realizing that it was Easter weekend and all the native bike outlets can be closed for the weekend, I knew I wanted to behave quick, so I known as a pair bike outlets in Cape City and located one only a few kilometers from my residence that had the spare brake pads that I wanted. So I dashed over to the store on my bicycle, picked up the brand new pads, after which put in them on my bike as quickly as I acquired residence.
